One of the first improvements the owners made was to restore the original stone wall surrounding the oceanfront property. As they walked the beach at low tide, the remains of the wall were visible. They were fortunate to engage a local stone mason. Using the original remaining wall as a base and a footprint, the mason lovingly gathered local stones to complete the wall. The project spanned over two years. It should be noted that no rocks were used from the beach.

Goose Rocks Beach can be accessed at low tide from Marshall Point. It has nearly 3 miles of wide sandy beach. A barrier reef offshore known as Goose Rocks, visible at low tide, helps protect the soft, white sands of the beach.
